This is a 10* NON-DIV TOY on the OVER Guardians/Yanks.

Despite a couple of decent starters going head-to-head in this one, I believe that all signs point to this total flying OVER the number sooner, rather than later.

It's a battle of division leaders, and I'm predicting a bit of a slug-fest for a couple of different reasons.

Matt Boyd is 0-0 with a 1.69 ERA for Cleveland, but he's only pitched a total of 5.1 innings. Clearly, this is a much more difficult moment here in New York.

He'll be opposed by Luis Gil, who is 12-6 with a 3.25 ERA for the Yanks.

It's difficult really to say anything negative about these guys, so I won't bother. But as mentioned, situationally it sets up well to be a high-scoring affair, as note that Cleveland has in fact seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 11 after three or more straight losses in a row (just dropped all three in Milwaukee this past weekend.)

And note that NY has seen the total eclipse the posted number in four of its last five after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row (off two straight losses as well after going 1-2 in Detroit this weekend.)

The overall situation points to this total flying OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
