This is a 10* TOTAL DESTRUCTION on the UNDER Giants/Nationals.

These teams played to a high-scoring affair in their opener on Tuesday, but everything points to a much tighter and ultimately lower-scoring "duel" on Wednesday in my opinion.

We have two really competent starters going head-to-head and I believe they'll for sure battle into the deeper frames.

The Giants turn to Blake Snell (1-3, 4.29 ERA), who comes in off a no-hitter vs. the Reds on Friday, striking out 11 in the 3-0 victory. Since returning from the IL for the second this year, he's posted a 0.55 ERA and 41:10 K:BB.

He also has 26 K's in his last 15 innings of work.

And he'll be opposed by Jake Irvin (8-9, 3.56), who is coming off a decent outing vs. the hard-hitting Brewers, allowing four runs over six innings.

Look for these two guys to take "center stage" in this contest and also expect this total to stay well UNDER the number once it's all said and done.
