This is a 10* CFL EAST-DIV. GOM on Hamilton.
This one definitely appeals to my contrarian nature out of all the CFL games this weekend.
I'm not calling for an outright upset or anything, but I do think the 2-5 Hamilton Ti-Cats will find a way to, at the very least, take this one right down to the wire and cover easily with the points they've been afforded at home.
This is the first game of the season between teh clubs, but its the start of a home and home set between the clubs.
After five straight losses, the Ti-Cats though have won two in a row, last week annihilating Edmonton 44-28 on the road.
It's won outright as a dog two weeks straight, and I honestly believe that Bo Levi Mitchell and company have a legit shot at doing the same here as well. Last week Mitchell was 17 of 25 for 316 yards and five TD's.
There's a reason why the general betting public is on the Als, because they're 6-1 and leading the East. They've honestly been pretty unremarkable in my eyes though over their last three games, beating Calgary 30-26 as an 8-point favorite, losing 37-18 at home to Toronto as a seven-point favorite, and then holding on for a lacklustre 20-16 win over Saskatchewan at home last week.
I say Mitchell will once again keep his team competitive late, so grab the points, the play is indeed on HAMILTON.
Good luck, NP
