This is an 8* SLUG-FEST on the OVER Rays/Rangers.

Despite these being two decent starters going head-to-head here on Sunday afternoon, I'm definitely expecting a "slug-fest" once it's all said and done.

Tampa is coming off the B2B losses here and has seen the total go UNDER in five of its last six.

Note though that the Rays have in fact seen the total eclipse the posted number in seven of their last ten in trying to avenge two or more straight road loss vs. an opponent.

Texas has seen the total go UNDER in three straight, but that's also significant to note, as the Rangers have seen the total go OVER the number in four of their last five after playing to three or more UNDERS in a row.

As stated off the top, Zach Littell of the Rays and Nate Eovaldi of the Rangers have been great over the first half, but the overall situation, combined with the numbers/trends point to this particular Sunday afternoon total flying OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
