This is a 10* METROPOLITAN TOY on the UNDER Flyers/Capitals.

Throughout the month of March, my writeups will be more succinct due to the fact that I plan on releasing more plays, and don't have as much time as I do normally.

Both teams have been playing to several higher-scoring games of late, but the overall situation that each finds itself entering this one combined with some trends makes the UNDER the correct call here finally between these Metropolitan Division rivals.

Philly is off a 6-2 win over Tampa and it's seen the total go OVER in three straight, but note that the Flyers have in fact seen the total go UNDER in three of their last four after playing to three or more straight OVERS in a row.

The Capitals are off an 8-3 loss at Detroit. They've seen the total go OVER in four of their last five. They play with revenge after a 4-3 shooutout loss at Philly in mid December.

Everything points to more of a defensive affair in the rematch though; the play is indeed on the UNDER.
