The World Series Game 1 play is on Texas at 8 eastern. The Rangers and Bochy came back down 3-2 winning both games on the road to take out the Defending Champs. Arizona did the same to the Phils last seasons National League champs. Now they meet in game 1 and we see that home teams in game 1 of the World series off a road game are 7-1 since 2004 and perfect vs an opponent off a road win. Eovaldi gets the call here at home in game 1 and has not faced the D-backs this season. He has a ton of big game experience and can keep the Arizona lineup off balance mixing his pitches and staying ahead in the count. Gallen goes for Arizona and he did well against them at home but was hit well in his second start against Texas this season allowing 3 runs and 7 hits through 5 innings in a Texas win. The Rangers will benefit from having seen him and Gallen has a 4.42 road Era and allowed 9 runs in 11 innings in 2 starts vs the Philles in the LCS. Look for Texas to take game 1
