Taking BOSTON COLLEGE here. This is not a vintage Virginia Tech team. They have that win over Ohio State which basically looks like a fluke. OSU breaking in a new QB and the Hokies get lucky. I know VT has some extra prep time off a prime time loss. But is it going to help? Are they suddenly going to be able to get good QB play and stop a behemoth BC rush attack averaging 277 yards a game. That is the kind of offense that keeps the crowds out of games on the road and keeps any type, good or bad offense off the field. Would have liked to have this game at 5, but is now in the 3, 3.5 range. Huge game for BC to get to bowl eligibility. BC is the better team. The Beamer defense isn't like years past. BC has the better defense, plus an offense built for time clock-dragging drives. Won't be shocked by a dog outright here. 4* Money Maker BOSTON COLLEGE
