Taking the ROYALS here. Uh. You know I don't like laying numbers like this, especially on the road. But I can't not play my angles. KC has won 6 streak and 8 of 10. They will look for the sweep this afternoon against the White Sox, losers of 3 straight. KC has beat up on CWS to the tune of 16-3 in the first 2 games. Shields hasn't been particularly sharp his last 3 starts on the road. But the guy is still a beast. Giving up 10 runs to the Angels, Jays and Cards in 3 straight road games isn't that bad in my eyes. I will gladly back him over Rienzo who hasn't gotten out of the 4th inning his last 2 starts. KC is 12-1 in Shields last 13 road starts.
