Taking SAN JOSE here. Spartans off a loss to Stanford 2 weeks ago, so plenty of time to prepare for the Gophers here. This SJ team has slowly improved over the last few years to be 11-2 last year. They have a solid offense with a good QB and an experienced OL. This line opened at or near a TD and has come down. Minny does a questionable QB situation. I really don't think it will make much of difference. So they are 3-0. The 3 teams they beat, were 8-22 last year. Not exactly stepping up in class teams. Now San Jose will be up for this game because even though it is a lower level Big Ten team, it is still the Big 10. These guys are 21-5 ATS last 26 overall and 16-5 ATS last 21 on the road. 4* Money-Maker SAN JOSE STATE
