Taking SOUTH CAROLINA here. I will be honest. I was thinking Canes all day long in this spot. Gamecocks had much bigger plans than Independence Bowl that's for sure. This line has steamed up. But as much as I love the 'U', how can we lay points to the SEC here. Looking at the numbers, I am scratching my head here. Miami puts up 36ppg at home, and barely 21 on the road. Canes with a better defense, but I think it is because they played weaker teams. Can you really trust a freshman QB vs Spurrier in a spot trying to have a winning record? Spurrier hasn't had a losing record since 1987 at Duke. You think these kids want to hear that wrath? Getting points vs a team that has lost 9 of it's last 17 by double digits?
