I don't like the Angels on the road, nor the pitching matchup they have going for them here. Now that the price has come down, I'm getting involved with the Mariners. Seattle has beaten the Angels seven of the last 10 times at home. The Angels are 6-9 on the road this season.

The pitching matchup is journeyman Ricky Nolasco versus Hisashi Iwakuma. Give me Iwakuma, coming off a strong performance and with a 2.76 lifetime ERA versus the Angels in 20 games. That ERA shrinks to 2.32 when he's pitched against the Angels at Safeco Field, which has been 10 times.

Nolasco is 1-4 with a 4.33 ERA in six career outings versus the Mariners. I also don't like the Angels' late relief, which has been thinned by injuries.
