#269/270 ASA FREE PLAY ON Under 45.5 Points – Indianapolis Colts vs Houston Texans, Sunday at 1 PM ET - We like this division battle to be a lower scoring game. Houston’s defense has been elite all season allowing just 4.8 YPP and 277 YPG which are both ranked 2nd in the NFL. Last week was the first time since September 22nd they allowed more than 21 points and that was vs a Green Bay offense that is one of the best in the NFL and they still allowed just 24 points in that game. They have allowed an average of just 17 PPG at home this season and Houston is facing an Indy offense that won’t have much of a passing game with Richardson back at QB. We feel the Colts are much better offensively with Flacco at QB as Richardson has completed less than 50% of his passes this season with only 3 TD’s (in 5 starts). Indy is averaging just 18.5 PPG when Richardson starts and plays the majority of the game and in his return last week they put up just 16 points (just 1 TD) on 4.7 YPP. Houston’s offense has been pretty average all season (middle of the pack in most key stats) and they’ve felt the loss of top WR Collins who missed the last 2 games and won’t return until November. Last week vs Green Bay, this Houston offense tallied only 180 total yards on 3.4 YPP. This offense has topped 22 points only once in their last 6 games. Indy’s defense has slowly been getting some injured starters back and has looked much better as of late allowing 27 total points in their last 2 games. They’ve given up more than 24 points only once in their last 6 games. Seven of the last 10 meetings in this rivalry have gone Under the total and all 3 of Houston’s home games have gone Under with an average total points score of 39.6. Under is the play in this AFC South battle.
