#477 ASA FREE PLAY ON NY Giants +5.5 over Tennessee, Sunday at 4:25 PM ET - This one opened Tennessee -6.5 but has since been bet down to +5.5. That’s a strange line move considering the Giants 4-13 record and Titans making the playoffs last year. NYG was better than their overall record last year as they were stuck playing the 2nd toughest schedule in the NFL in 2021. The Giants have some nice weapons on offense and we think new head coach Daboll, who orchestrated the Bills high end offense, will make a world of difference this season. RB Barkley is back and seems to be healthy and the NY offensive line, their weakness last season, has been rebuilt and looks to be much improved. QB Daniel Jones knows this is an important year for him and we expect improvements. NY also turned the ball over more than any other team last year which gave them very little chance to win games as teams that win the TO battle in a game win around 85% of the time. Tennessee was 12-5 last season but their numbers did not support a team with that record. They finished 11th in the NFL in point differential and they had a negative YPP differential. They’ve lost their key WR’s (Brown & Jones) from last years team so Tannehill will need some time to adapt. The Titan have a huge game on deck vs Buffalo so they may not be fully focused on a team they expect to beat. Since 2018 the Titans are 9-12-1 ATS as a HOME FAVORITE and the Giants are 19-10 ATS as a road dog. We think NYG is a bit undervalued early in the season while Tennessee is overvalued.
