#975 ASA FREE MLB PLAY ON Seattle +115 over Miami, Sunday at 1:40 PM ET - Seattle tries to avoid the sweep today in Miami with their ace Logan Gilbert on the mound. The M’s are 4-0 in games where Gilbert was the starter with a run margin of +11. After allowing 1 ER in his opening start back on April 9th, Gilbert has since started 3 games spanning 17.1 innings and he has not allowed a single earned run. For the season he has struck out 22 batters and allowed just 4 walks. He should be dominant today vs a Miami offense that has already struck out 193 times on the season, 6th most in MLB. Sandy Alcantara is on the hill for the Marlins and his ERA numbers are very good, however his xFIP is nearly 4.00 telling us he’s a bit overvalued right now. The Mariners are slightly better when compared to Miami in most key offensive numbers and they have the better bullpen numbers pretty much across the board (ERA, BA allowed, OPS allowed, and WHIP). We also feel we’re getting the better starting pitcher and the team that is in desperation mode for a win in this series finale. We like the dog here.
