The Hofstra Pride are off to a 4-0 start and they’ve slayed a couple of demons along the way, beating Seton Hall for the first time since 1966 and UMass for the first time since 1971. They beat the Pirates on the road and the Minutemen on a neutral court. With those two tough games under their belt, traveling to Tallahassee shouldn’t faze them. The Seminoles are pretty much a one-man band, with Jamir Watkins averaging 18.5 ppg and no one else putting up more than 8.5 ppg. On the other hand, Hofstra has three guys who put up 15 ppg or better. The Pride shoot better from downtown (36% vs 24%), shoot free throws better (76% vs 66%), and pull down more rebounds (35 vs 30). Hofstra is a live dog here and 7.5 is way too many points.
