The Mocs could win this game, but I'll gladly take the three-point cushion to cover. UC Irvine is a terrific foul-shooting team (2nd nationally), which could be the difference if the game is close late.

That said, Chattanooga's offense can be relied upon (43rd in efficiency), especially against an Anteaters defense that prefers to pack the paint. The Mocs don't rely on many paint touches, as they shoot a high rate of threes (47th-most), knocking them down at a 36.7% clip. Chattanooga is 9-3 outright when an underdog and 10-2 against the spread, plus it has won 16 of its last 17 games heading into this matchup.

I really like UC Irvine's team, but a comfortable cover against a confident Mocs squad doesn't sound probable.
