I favor Chicago's side on Sunday afternoon in Phoenix. Eduardo Rodriguez had a 5.65 ERA, 1.60 WHIP, and .291 opponent BA at home last season. He allowed eight home runs in his ten starts. The Cubs slashed .256/.331/.415/.747 on the road in 2024, and .257/.314/.392/.706 versus southpaws. Matthew Boyd was solid in limited action last year, with a .213 opponent BA and 46:13 K:BB ratio in 39 frames. He may not be dominant, but he gives Chicago a fighting chance to get to the bullpen with a lead. I feel confident he'll outduel Rodriguez and that the visitors will close the series with a win.
