The Braves dropped the first two games of the series, but I value Spencer Schwellenbach in today's game against San Diego. Schwellenbach established himself as one of MLB’s top young pitchers last season, starting at the High-A level and rocketing up to the big leagues less than two months later. He posted a 3.35 ERA over the 21 starts (123 2/3 innings), bested by only Paul Skenes (1.96), Shota Imanga (2.91), and Tobias Myers (3.00). He'll contain a Padres lineup that's a bit Jekyll and Hyde. With Randy Vasquez taking the hill for SD, I value the Braves run line (-1.5) at +110 odds.
