The Friars posted a .302 wOBA and 97 wRC+ against left-handed pitchers a year ago, slightly below the league average.

Atlanta faces Michael King, who boasted a 99th-percentile average exit velocity and a 97th-percentile hard-hit rate with a 27.7% K-rate last season. The ex-reliever finished strong, too (2.07 ERA and 2.54 FIP from July onward). The Braves had a .308 wOBA and 96 wRC+ against RHP last year, and Sean Murphy and Ronald Acuna Jr. are on the IL.

Two aces and rested bullpens will take the mound for the Braves and Padres today in America's Finest City. That should result in a low-scoring game.
