PORTLAND BLAZERS -6
(NBA) Wizards (WAS) vs. Trail Blazers (POR),
Point Spread: -6.00 | -112.00 Trail Blazers (POR) (Home)
Result: Win
Portland has been playing solid basketball, despite playing a murderer's row of opponents, with five straight games against the Knicks, Warriors, Pistons, Thunder, and Celtics. Coming off a win over Toronto on Sunday, I like them to cover at home against a Washington team that will be light on backcourt depth, with Marcus Smart questionable and Malcolm Brogdon, Cory Kispert, and Bilal Coulibaly out. I expect Portland's guards to feast, as Shaedon Sharpe did (36 points) in the last matchup between these teams on Feb. 26, an eight-point Blazers win. Kispert, Smart, and Coulibaly combined for 46 points in that game, so their presence will be missed.

Don't fall for the trap: Washington has scored consecutive upsets, but the Wizards are too unreliable to win or cover tonight in Rip City.
