Both teams come into this game off impressive wins. GASO off of a program win over James Madison and ODU who beat a high flying Texas State Bobcats team at home. The Monarchs are at home in the better spot while GASO has to travel in what should be a natural letdown spot on a short week for them. ODU has the better defense between the two as GASO is allowing 7.2 yards per play while on the road to opponents. This should be another win for Old Dominion. GASO is 1-6 against the spread in the second half of the season and they are 1-3 against the spread on the road, off a home win against a conference rival in the last three seasons. ODU is 4-2 ATS off an upset win over a conference rival as an underdog in the last three seasons. This was a three point game last season that ODU won while on the road in Statesboro, GA.
