This is a very long trip for UCLA literally traveling coast to coast and it is an early morning start. Teams are 4-9 against the spread this season when they travel two time zones. This is a nice bounce back for Rutgers off a bad loss, at home where they can regroup. Rutgers will establish the run and should be able to move the ball. Rutgers does a good job on defense, only allowing opponents 20 points or less per game. UCLA relies on the pass game and they won’t do much against the Scarlet Knights as they can defend that and UCLA are 104th in finishing drives and their offense has been non existent. UCLA has been cursed with throwing too many interceptions this season which will hurt them against a team like this. Rutgers should play better at home in this spot against an easier opponent.
