Denver’s defense will be the better unit in this game. Bo Nix is a work in progress but he has started to play better and has some wins under his belt plus they don’t have a lot of injuries like the Saints. The Saints have a ton of injuries and are down to just 2 starters and Shaheed and Olave are out leaving no offensive weapons for Rattler. Their offensive line will be compromised as well as their defensive line, not to mention throwing out Rattler in his second start of the season. He’s also going up against the best defense he will see all season. This will also be the Saints third game in 10 days and another short week for them. Usually the favorites have done well in prime time going 23-5 straight up and 20-7-1 against the spread. Denver has the better coach who is returning to New Orleans so he should be trusted to come up with some better schemes. The Broncos are 3-0 against the spread on the road this season. The Saints are 1-5 against the spread as a home underdog of 7 points or less. The Saints are 0-3 against the spread on Thursday nights.
