The last five games between the two have all stayed under the total and under 40 points. This number seems low but those five games stayed under by a few points. Both offenses are struggling to put up points and with all the questionable players like Cook and others who may or may not play on the Bills side, that will affect the scoring. Also, Allen is dealing with a concussion and his ability to play 100% healthy in this game is up in the air and he had a terrible game last week, he was 9-of-30 for only 131 yards. On the flip side, Aaron Rodgers hasn’t performed well either, in his last game versus the Vikings he got sacked three times and got picked off a few times so the offense has stalled, but the Jets have the number one defense as far as yards per play allowed. Their last two games saw the Jets put up 17 and 9 points but now they will be under a new play caller. Since 2022, games played in New York versus division opponents have gone under the total 11 out of 14 times. From 2022, Buffalo’s road games have gone under the total 16 times out of 20. Buffalo is averaging 20 points on the road while the Jets are averaging 16 points in home games this season. The Bills and the Jets are 2-0 to the Under on Monday Night Football in their last two games. There are a lot of factors in this game that won’t see great performances that will keep the score low. The Jets had a coach firing, having come from an international trip with possible jet lag and other issues to contend with. The Bills are banged up and multiple players are questionable for this game including Cook and Allen's health, and Allen will be without a lot of offensive weapons. This is their third consecutive road game as well despite having a few extra days rest. This game is also going to be affected by higher wind gusts that are projected weather wise for this game and that may affect the passing game as well, so both will probably run the ball which chews down the clock. There won’t be fireworks from both sides and this game is usually a defensive rock fight, so taking under the total has value and both should start out slow. Primetime unders are 165-109-3 (60%) since 2019 as well.
