Houston should struggle to get points up on the Horned Frogs as they have struggled to move the ball this season. Their secondary should slow down the TCU pass game, but their offense is so inconsistent and nonexistent that this team won’t add too many points to this total. They also play at one of the slower paces so that is going to bleed the clock down. The Horned Frogs should be able to exploit the Cougars defense somewhat but will struggle with scoring as they have not been efficient with their scoring chances and they are turnover prone this season. In fact both teams are turnover prone which leads to a more sloppier game with less points. Their last two head to head games have both gone under the total and both games did not reach a combined score of 50 points. Houston is 7-3 to the Under as a road underdog. Houston has gone under the total in ten of their last twelve games. TCU have gone under the total in three of their last four games as a favorite of 10.5 to 21 points. TCU is 2-0 to the Under off an upset win over a conference rival as an underdog.
