MACK'S CFB **SEC - GAME OF THE MONTH!
(NCAAF) Bulldogs (UGA) vs. Crimson Tide (ALA),
Point Spread: 1.50 | -112.00 Crimson Tide (ALA) (Home)
Result: Win
Both need to win this game but only one team can, and this win will define the rest of the teams seasons. Georgia couldn’t generate offense in their game versus Kentucky last week and almost lost the game, which is concerning. Their receiving room is good but not as strong as it was last season, and Carson Beck seems more like a game manager who hasn't created any big time throws yet this season. They also have a few injuries they are dealing with as well. Both these teams are just about even in talent and skill but the issue is that the Bulldogs are 0-2 straight up against Alabama. For whatever reason, this team can beat everyone else but the Crimson Tide. This should be a close competitive game that will come down to a field goal or less. Alabama hasn’t been a home underdog since 2007, the year coach Nick Saban started. Alabama has the better quaterback in Milroe as he is more mobile and can make plays with his legs, has played virtually mistake free so far this season, and their emerging star WR Ryan Williams has already produced 4 touchdowns for Alabama. Alabama has the better defense as they lead Georgia in rush success, line yards, pass success, havoc, finishing drives, quality drives and they are elite in defending the slot. Georgia is 3-6 against the spread as a road favorite and 2-8 against the spread in September games. Alabama is 6-2 against the spread versus conference opponents at home. Alabama is 5-1 against the spread versus good offensive teams that are averaging more than or equal to 5.9 yards per play at home. Georgia is 6-9 against the spread on the road after 1 or more consecutive straight up wins. The Crimson Tide have the edge at home with their home crowd supporting them, so there is value in taking the plus money odds.

Best bet: take the points with Alabama.
