(NCAAF) Jaguars (SAB) vs. Tigers (LSU),
Point Spread: 22.50 | -115.00 Jaguars (SAB) (Away)
Result: Loss
LSU is having issues with their defense and they have struggled in every game to even cover the spread. LSU has no wins against the spread as a 20.5-point favorite or greater this season and they are 12-22 against the spread as a home favorite of 14.5 to 21 points. This is a step up in class for the Jaguars but they have been improving under QB Gio Lopez and have a great offense this season. He played a great game versus Appalachian State and had 154 passing yards and two touchdowns without throwing a pick. He's completing 62% of his passes for 843 yards 9 TDs and no interceptions. The Jaguar's defense also looked solid versus the Mountaineers and they forced two turnovers in that game. While there are many questions regarding the Tigers defense, this is a game that the Jaguars can hang around in and cover the spread. The Jaguars are 2-0 against the spread after playing a Thursday game. The Jaguars are 4-0 against the spread after playing their last game on the road and they are 4-2 against the spread after allowing 14 points or less last game. LSU is 1-7 against the spread after 3 or more consecutive straight up wins. The Jaguars are 7-3 against the spread as a road underdog of 14.5 to 21 points.

Best bet: take the points with South Alabama.
