Both pitchers have pitched well recently. Little has pitched great, giving up virtually nothing in his last several outings. Montero pitching well in the month of September, has given up a few in spots but overall should pitch a better game today. Both bullpens are in the top 10 of the league as far as reliever collective ERA’s. The Rays offense has been inconsistent while Detroit has gone under in 14 of their last 17 home games. Both have gone under in four of their last five games in Detroit. Tampa Bay is 20-10 to the Under when playing against a team with a winning record in the second half of the season. Detroit is 11-3 to the Under when playing against opponents in the AL East division.

Best bet: take the Under the Total.
