Tennessee is coming into this game with a 27-8 record this season and they were 14-4 in their conference. They also have just 1 other non-conference win against a ranked opponent this season as they beat Illinois at home earlier this year, but they also have a road loss to North Carolina as well as losses at neutral locations to Kansas and Purdue. They are going up against a Purdue team that is 32-4 this season and they were 17-3 in their conference. They ended up losing to Wisconsin in the Big 10 Tournament but that is their only loss recently as they have won their last 3 straight as well as 9 of their last 10 games. They have already beaten 2 ranked teams in this tournament as they beat Utah State by close to 40 points followed by a 12 point win over Gonzaga in their last game. Purdue has also answered the call in every non-conference game they have played against ranked opponents this year as they have wins against Gonzaga, Tennessee, Marquette, and Arizona as well. Purdue has been very hard to stop in this tournament as Edey has been playing very well, but they are also a great 3 point shooting team which could cause this game to get out of hand for Tennessee. Tennessee has a very good defense but it will be tough for them to defend both Edey and the perimeter, they also do not have the offense to keep up with Purdue if they fall behind. Purdue will cover the spread in this game.
