They are going up against a Florida team that is 24-11 this season and was 11-7 in the conference. They also went on a run in their conference tournament as they went to the finals, but they also lost in the finals to Auburn by close to 20 points. Colorado had a lot of expectations coming into the regular season and they dropped the ball at the start of their conference schedule, but now they have been playing much better in their recent games and they have the confidence with a tournament win already under their belt. Colorado also has more talented players with 2 players who were ranked in the top 100 coming out of highschool, including 1 ranked in the top 5, while Florida only has 1 recruit who was in the top 100 coming out of highschool. Florida was also a very mediocre team with their shooting and shot defense as they do not crack the top 100 in the country while Colorado is a top 10 team in the country with their shooting from the field and beyond the arc so this game could get out of hand very quickly for Florida.
