Colgate is coming into this game with a 25-9 record this season and they were 16-2 in their conference. They had the best record in their conference during the regular season and they also won their conference tournament to get here. They have been playing very well in their recent games as they have won their last 5 straight as well as 17 of their last 18 games, but 2 of their last 4 wins have come by just 3 points and they have been playing against much weaker opponents in their conference. Earlier this season, they were tested against ranked teams in the tournament as they played Arizona and Illinois in their non-conference schedule, but they lost both of those games by 15+ points and they even have an 18 point loss to Yale as well. They are going up against a Baylor team that is 23-10 this season and was 11-7 in their conference. They were one of the better teams in the Big 12 this season and they have been playing very well recently as they have won 4 of their last 6 games, but they are also going to be hungry to bounce back here since they are coming off of a loss by 10+ points against Iowa State in the Big 12 Tournament and they have been sitting on that loss for a week now.
