Tennessee is coming into this game with a 24-8 record this season and they were 14-4 in their conference. They were the best team in the conference during the regular season and they have been a very dominant team all year that made a deep run in this tournament last year as well. They lost in their 1st game of the SEC Tournament to Mississippi State, getting blown out by close to 20 points, and they are going to be hungry to bounce back here after sitting on that bad loss for a week. They are going up against a Saint Peter's team that is 19-13 this season and was 12-8 in their conference which finished in 3rd during the regular season, but they are also lucky to be here as they had to win their conference tournament to secure the bid.
