UConn is coming into this game with a 24-2 record this season and they have been a dominant team in the conference at 14-1. They lost their 1st conference game of the season on the road against Seton Hall and they have won their last 14 straight games since then as they are now ranked number 1 in the country as well. They have also been gaining steam toward the end of the season as they were winning closer games at the beginning of their streak but now they are crushing the teams that they play, winning their last 3 straight by 10+ points as well as winning their last 6 straight games by 9+ points. They are also coming off of a win in their last game which they beat the number 4 team in the country, Marquette, by close to 30 points. They are going up against a Creighton team that is 19-7 this season and has also been good in the conference at 10-5. They have also been heating up recently with 3 straight wins, but those wins also came against Butler, Xavier, and Georgetown who are all in the bottom half of the conference. Creighton also lost to UConn earlier this season by 14 points in a game that they were held to 48 points in which is going to be key in this game. Creighton will be at home this time and they have one of the better offenses in the country, but UConn also has an offense that can keep up with Creighton as well as a much better defense that is one of the best in the country right now. UConn will be able to shut down Creighton with their defensive abilities and they are going to continue on their streak as they are not a team to step in front of right now.
