The Mavericks are coming into this game with a 24-20 record this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost their last 3 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games but they have had a tough schedule in that span and will be hungry to bounce back here with a much needed win. Their last 3 losses came against the Celtics, the Suns, and the Lakers who are all good teams, but now they are going up against a Hawks team that is under .500 this season and also dealing with some banged up starters. The Hawks are 18-26 this season and have not been playing well in their recent games either. They have also lost their last 3 straight games and have been without both Hunter and Young as they are banged up. Hunter is going to miss this game as well while Young is questionable with a concussion, but even if he does play in this game, the Mavericks have enough fire power to bounce back in Atlanta and get that much needed win. The Mavericks could also be getting Kyrie Irving back for this game which will give them a boost. This is a good spot for the Mavericks to bounce back and get back on the winning side of things.
