The Eagles are coming into this game with a 10-3 record this season but they have not been playing great in their recent games. They have lost their last 2 straight games by 10+ points and their offense failed to score 20 points in both games. Their offense has not been as good recently as they have scored 21 points or less in 3 of their last 4 games. Their defense has not been good in those games either but they have switched the defensive play calling duties to Matt Patricia and that could give the defense a bit of a boost here, especially since they will be hungry to respond after the way they played in their last 2 games. They are going up against a Seahawks team that is 6-7 this season and needs to win this game to keep their playoff hopes alive but they have lost their last 4 straight games and their offense has been very bad in those as well. They have scored just 16 points or less in 3 of their last 4 games. They are back at home here after playing their last 2 games on the road and their defense will be hungry to have a much better response here at home in prime time. Geno Smith is also banged up so he will not be at his best if he plays as he has already been regressing this season from last year, but even if he sits out this offense will be a big downgrade with Drew Lock starting. Jalen Hurts is also dealing with an injury though as well as an illness that will not have him at 100% for this game so the offense is not going to be rolling and they are going to lean more on their running game to take the stress off of a banged up Hurts. If Hurts ends up sitting out, this offense will be a downgrade with Mariota starting. This is going to be a low scoring and more defensive game that stays under the total.
