Miami is coming into this game with a 5-0 record this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They were very good last season as they made a deep run in the NCAA Tournament, they did lose some key players from last season but they also retained some from that team and added some nice replacements for what they lost as well. They have won their last 5 straight games with 3 being at home and 2 at a neutral location. This will be their 1st road game of the season but they are somewhat battle tested having played their last 2 games in a tournament at a neutral location and even beat Kansas State in a dominant performance who was ranked at the time. They are going up against a Kentucky team that is 5-1 this season and they have won all 5 of their games at home. Their only loss came at a neutral location against Kansas but they have won their last 3 games since then. Kentucky has not had a very strong schedule though as 4 of their wins this season have some against teams with losing record. The only teams they have faced with winning records this year, they have struggled in both games as they lost to Kansas at a neutral location and beat Saint Joseph's at home by 8 points in a game that needed OT for them to win. Miami is not going to be an easy opponent like the teams Kentucky has faced and Miami already has some quality wins this season as well. Miami has the ability to win this game straight up, but they will at least keep it close if they do not win. Miami will cover the spread in this game.
