Colorado State is coming into this game with a 3-5 record this season and even though they have been struggling in the MWC with a 1-3 conference record, they still have a very favorable schedule to end the season and could easily run the table to be a bowl team. They have lost 3 of their last 4 games but even their last 2 losses have been in very close games as they lost on the road against UNLV by 2 points and lost at home in a very snowy game against Air Force who is still undefeated this year. This is also a rivalry game for Colorado State so they are not just going to lay down and die in this game as they will fight to keep it close. They are going up against a Wyoming team that has been good this season as they are 5-3 overall but all 5 of their wins have also come at home with a few of them coming in some flukey games. Wyoming was finally exposed in their last game as they were smashed by Boise State on the road 32-7 in a game where their offense did absolutely nothing. Now they are coming back home for this rivalry game but they are going to be low on confidence while Colorado State has been losing a lot of close games and will be hungry to win this game and keep their bowl hopes alive. Even if Wyoming wins this game, this is way too many points for them with the offensive struggles they have had all season. Colorado State will cover the spread in this game.
