Arkansas is coming into this game off of a loss in their last game which came at home against BYU. They may have been looking ahead to this game but they still lost at home against BYU who does not have a great team this season and their defense was nowhere to be found in that game as they allowed 38 points as well. Their offense has been good in their first 3 games as they are scoring points and they will be a lot more ready for this conference game as they will also be hungry to bounce back from last week, but they are going to need offense in this game to compete with LSU. They are going up against an LSU team that lost their 1st game of the season to Florida State in a blowout and it has now set them on a rampage as they have to go undefeated to have any hopes of making the CFP if they even have a chance still. They got their frustrations out from that loss with a 72-10 win at home against Grambling State and then followed up that performance with a nice 41-14 road win over Mississippi State in their last game which was also their 1st conference game of the season. Their defense has been better in their games since that loss but they have still allowed at least 10 points in all 3 of their games this season and Arkansas does have a good offense that will score points here as they will be hungry to bounce back. LSU also has their own points to prove though and they will be sure to make a statement in this 1st home conference game of the year. LSU is going to score points on Arkansas with the way that defense was allowing points in their last game and LSU should easily hit 40 or more points in this game with that offense at home. Between these two teams, there will be enough points in this game to push it over the total.
