Boise State is coming into this game with a much improved team from last season and they were already very good last year going 10-4 with Andy Avalos in his 2nd year as head coach. The team has improved every season under Avalos and they have recruited some even better players for this year as well. They have a lot of weapons on offense and they will be able to score points in this game as they will take advantage of the vulnerabilities in this Washington secondary. Boise State always gets up for power 5 opponents and they are going to play hard in this game, but they are still going up against a very good Washington team that was 11-2 last season and will be hungry for an even better year. They have a very good QB in Penix Jr who led this team to an undefeated record at home last year and they scored over 40 points in almost every single home game. As much as this Boise State defense has improved, Washington is going to score points on them with that potent offense but their defense was a big issue last season as they allowed a lot of points in their home games as well and Boise State does have a very good offense to take advantage of those defensive weaknesses. Between these two teams, there will be enough points in this game to push it over the total.
