I’m on Hofstra +7.5 on the road vs Florida state for these reasons:

- Hofstra 4-0 and also 4-0 against the spread. They play with speed and shoot 25 threes per game. They make an average of 35% of those shots, but that will be enough to make this game a close one with Florida state only attempting 20 deep shots and making only 5 per game on average.

- Hofstra have a rebounding advantage due to the size of their bigger guards and 6’10 and 7’0 big men. It’s hard for me to see Florida state being able to keep pace if Hofstra get rolling from deep early, because the seminoles like a slow paced defensive game.

- If this game gets close, the seminoles do not shoot well from the charity stripe. 65% as a team is not going to be trustworthy as the game ends and that could be the route to us covering this 7.5.
