The Rice Owls will play host to the Navy Midshipmen in AAC action. Navy is second in the AAC standings. They are 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference. They are coming off their first loss of the season. Rice is 1-3 in conference play and have lost their last two in a row. Blake Horvath leads the Navy offense. He has thrown for 10 touchdowns and two interceptions with 976 yards, He has rushed 750 yards and 11 touchdowns. Rice lost to UConn, 17-10 in their last outing.
E.J. Warner will be back under center. He has thrown for 1,573 yards with 10 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. Last week was the only game that Navy scored less than 38 points this year and that was against a top Notre Dame team. They will be looking to bounce back in a big way and I can’t see Rice slowing the running attack down defensively or keeping up with them offensively/
