In his last three appearances, all in relief, he is 1-0 record with a 12.00 ERA, a 1.20 WHIP, five walks and two strikeouts over six innings of work. Houston has won 11 of their last 13 games. Justin Verlander is back from the IL for the Astros. It will be his first start in over two months. He is 3-2 with a 3.95 ERA, and a 1.211 WHIP. Verlander is coming off 2 rehab starts. That being said, Criswell has not has not pitched well and the Boston pen has b;own twelve saves since the break. I am taking the hotter team in this one.
