With the 3-2 Panthers win they were able to wrestle away home-ice advantage. In the regular season series between these teams, the Hurricanes won two of the three. This is a must-win game for the Hurricanes and I expect them to do just that on their home ice. The Hurricanes have scored the fourth-most goals in the playoffs while Florida has scored the eighth-most. Carolina is allowing goals per game in the playoffs compared to the Panthers' 3.08 goals. I like the Hurricanes to even the series on home ice and take game two.
