The Texas Rangers take on the Oakland Athletics in the third game of a four-game set. The Rangers will go with Jon Gray while the Athletics will go with JP Sears on the mound. Gray has posted a 3.82 ERA and 1.25 WHIP this season. JP Sears has had problems keeping the ball in the park. He has allowed 10 home runs 37.1 innings which has led to a 5.54 ERA. Texas has scored the second most runs in the Majors and has one of their better pitchers going today. Oakland has been the worst team in baseball when it comes to pitching. They have allowed the most home runs, and most runs, and hold the highest ERA and WHIP. I am taking the better and hotter team in this one.
