The Detroit Tigers take on the Cleveland Guardians in the final game of a three-game set. The Tigers will go with Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound and the Guardians will go with Peyton Battenfield. Rodriguez went eight shutout innings, allowing just two hits last time out. He has three wins in his last four starts. So far in six starts, he has posted a 1.81 ERA allowing just two runs over his last 34.2 innings. Peyton Battenfield started in the bullpen but was entered into the rotation when Zach Plesak was sent down to the minors. He went seven scoreless innings against the twins in his first start. He has a 4.07 ERA and 1.19 WHIP this season. The Tigers have started to play better in what can be called a rebuilding year for the Tigers once again. Detroit has won five of seven against the Guardians and I like their chances with Rodriguez on the mound.
