The San Francisco Giants took one of three from the Yankees While the White Sox split a four-game set with the Houston Astros. For their home opener, the Sox will send Michael Kopech to the mound. He finished last season with a 5-9 record and a 3.64 ERA. The Giants will look to get to 500 on the season with Anthony DeSclafani making the start. He was 0-2 last season with a 6.63 ERA. The Sox swept the Giants last season in the one series they faced each other. Since 2014 the Sox have won 11 of 13 against the Giants and four of five at home. Kopech pitched better at home than on the road last season. The Giants did not play well on the road last season, finishing with a 37-44 record. in the two games against the Yankees they were shut out twice. I like Kopech and the Sox at home in this one.
