No. 8 Alabama visits No. 21 Mississippi State in the opening SEC game for both teams. They each won last season on their home court when they met up. Alabama is 16th scoring 83.7 points a game. Mississippi State is third in scoring defense, allowing 52.6 ppg. The Crimson Tide has an advantage on the glass as they are ranked first with 44.1 rebounds per game. Both teams are 5-6-1 ATS. Right now, I have to say I would take Bama as the best team in the SEC.  They have a ton of talent and have faced the 11th-toughest strength of schedule. The Bulldogs are 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven home games and 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games overall. We will see how good the Mississippi State defense is when they step up the competition. I think Bama's offense will show the are better and come away with a win.
