The Colorado Avalanche will go for the sweep over the Edmonton Oilers tonight. Colorado took two of three regular-season meetings and has taken all three in the playoffs.

Kuemper has been sharp in the playoffs. He has allowed two goals or less in six out of nine starts and he has allowed more than three goals in just one playoff game. Pavel Francouz has allowed two goals in a game and a half since replacing Kuemper in Game 2. Mike Smith has started all 15 games so far in these playoffs and he has a 3.18 GAA and .917 SV%. Smith has allowed 17 goals in the three playoff games to Colorado. Edmonton put up nine in game one but has struggled to find the offensive output since then. I think this will be a tight game to start as neither team wants to get down a goal early.
