In a West Region matchup, the Memphis Tigers take on the #24 Boise State Broncos. This is just the second-ever matchup between the two programs. They met in the quarterfinals of the NIT last year, with Memphis winning 59-56. They say styles make fights and this is a perfect example of that. Memphis has finally gotten healthy and boasts one of the most talented teams in the country but will be facing an experienced Boie State team that relies on their defense to shut other teams down.
The Broncos have lost just three times since the end of November. Memphis has started to play like people expected them to play all season and I look for them to win and advance in this one.
