The Maryland Terrapins finished the season at 15-16 overall and 7-13 in the Big Ten. Michigan State Spartans were 20-11 overall and 11-9 in conference play. The Terrapins lost their last game of the season to these same Spartans 77-67. MSU is 6-4 in its last 10 games against Maryland and the Spartans won both regular-season meetings. The Spartans are very aggressive on the offensive boards which leads to second-chance opportunities. They do turn the ball over too much which negates their rebounding advantage. MSU got off to a huge lead in their last game and coasted home, I don't expect this game to be that easy but do like the Spartans to advance in the tourney with a cover in this one.
